Malaysia, August 1, 2008 – Sunway Computer Services Sdn Bhd and S & I Systems Pte Ltd today announced the establishment of Sunway S&I Systems Sdn Bhd (Sunway S&I) in Malaysia. In response to increasing demand for business strategy alignment and execution, and operational efficiency automation and management to accelerate business growth and fast-paced innovation to stay competitive, the new company will provide platform expertise to help businesses integrate and create an agile IT infrastructure that can adapt effectively to address fast-changing customer needs and market dynamics.

Sunway S&I will provide enterprise infrastructure solutions, platform expertise and delivery capabilities for the IBM servers and storage systems including IBM POWER Systems (system i and p), Storage Systems, Windows Servers (system x), Blade Servers and IBM Software, and Managed Services.

The inception of Sunway S&I will see the existing strong IBM sales & technical support teams from Sunway Computer Services handling the existing customers of Sunway Computer Services. With deep platform expertise, industry knowledge and technical competencies, the new company is well positioned to create value for our customers through transforming strategic vision into operational reality - integrating IT strategy with overall business goals for increased efficiency, reduced total cost of ownership and improve returns on investment.
